Great place with its free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and cute bar area. On my first stay, the staff helped with my evening plans, and their friendly service keeps me coming back for more! I can't wait for Christmas.

The location stunning and fantastic on a Saturday night with a wedding party in residence. Again, walking distance to Royal Shakespeare Theatre. New-fashioned room with exceptional large comfy beds, best base for celebrating birthday👌

Comfortable room. Rather stange combination of old building and modern extension. Breakfast was ok. Wall mounted TV was uncofortable to watch. View from bedroom was terrible.
Did not like surcharge for credit card payment! Bed and breakfast do not even do this.New part of building looks terrible from outside - needs a good facelift. Overall suggest the hotel falls short of 4 star rating!

I'd say that room was fabulous, it had an electric kettle and glassware, that's handy. The bed was exceptionally comfortable & the staff there were pleasant and accommodating. The location was best possible, minutes from The Other Place.

The staff very helpful and friendly, lovely comfortable big room, food great would say Al a Carte could only say all perfect, would recomm ,end it to all my friends so central to the town, walking distance did not have to fight for parking spaces
Hotel room too hot but I find most hotels seem to have that problem, and having no fridge in the room, my only two gripes about the hotel

Spotlessly clean hotel in a very pleasant building very close to the centre and all the attractions. Excellent facilities and a sensational breakfast with beans, potato plus muesli.

The hotel is an architecturally very successful combination of old and new. Also very centrally located. And the restaurant is also highly recommended. All in all a great stay!

This was an excellent hotel in may ways. Customer Service was first class across all parts of the hotel. The staff were very well trained and worked cohesively as members of a well motivated team. They were attentive to customers' requirements and often anticipated needs and headed off potential problem areas. The location was perfect for the theatre and the centre of Stratford, the old part of the hotel was atmospheric and in keeping with the beautiful centre with its timbered exterior and cosy, comfortable bars and restaurant. The bedroom (in the new part, practical but unlovely hidden behind the hotel) was large, quiet and clean with a huge bed. The breakfast was superb with fantastic choice for continental breakfast and served cooked breakfast.
The only reason I have been unable to give excellent throughout is because one of the primary reasons for choosing this hotel was for its facilities for wheelchair users. Sadly, the shower in the wet room was not fit for purpose because either the gradient or the drainage were not to standard and resulted in flooding to the bedroom. The shower spray could not be directed to the shower seat unless it was hand held. I have brought this to the attention of the hotel who need to rectify urgently is they are to continue to advertise this facility.

Unique Tudor-inspired rooms immerse you in the local history, combining quality furnishings with period details that create a nice atmosphere. Enjoying a rainfall shower in a spacious bathroom after a day of exploring nearby attractions adds a nice touch to the stay.
Parking can be a hassle, with poorly marked bays making it a challenge to fit the vehicles in correctly. The on-site dining area feels lacking in ambiance, and the bar prices are steep-£26 for two large glasses of wine might make you think twice. The smell of cleaning products in hallways can be overwhelming, and I found the room's lighting slightly dim for a comfortable evening routine, limiting the appeal of relaxing in the space.
